About Morgan Barth

Morgan Barth is a well-established presence in the Connecticut educational community who served as Achievement First (AF) Amistad High School principal from 2016 to 2018. One of Morgan Barth's core focuses was supporting development and growth at one of the nation’s top performing urban schools. Under Mr. Barth's leadership, the student pass rate for Advanced Placement (AP) tests grew by 100%.

Mr. Barth worked closely with faculty and community members at an institution that sends all of its students on to college and has a high percentage of pupils who are the first in their family to attain a higher education.

Mr. Barth previously engaged as Achievement First regional superintendent and had senior responsibilities with a network of 35 AF urban public charter schools. He oversaw leadership development programs such as the Principal-In-Residency initiative and was able to enable to improve leadership training and increase the diversity of the organization's leadership pipeline.

A history graduate of Williams College in Massachusetts, Morgan Barth gained early experience as a member of Teach for America Corps and taught in rural Arkansas for two years in the early 2000s.
